The payment options available to Very users

Very offer three payment plans to customers, in addition to paying the usual way. Buyers can choose from buy now pay later, Take 3 and spread the cost. These options are designed to make it easy for customers to buy an item from Very, regardless of whether you have the money or not.

These options spread payments out over a period of time, with the timescale depending on the option you selected. Unfortunately, a couple of the options are difficult to understand; what is the difference between buy now pay later and spread the cost? Their names mean the same thing. So we’re here to help.

Bear in mind that whenever Very use the word month, they mean 28 days.

Take 3 Very payments

Take 3 is a useful option for frequent Very shoppers. When checking out, select the ‘add to account’ option. This will add a monthly payment to your account. Shoppers do not need to pay interest if the amount is paid in time. Take 3 is available on all purchases.

It cannot be used to pay for installation and delivery fees. As the name suggests, Take 3 payments last for three months. If you buy a pair of shoes for £30 and select Take 3, you would pay £10 during the first month, £10 in the second, £10 in the third month. You could then make another purchase with Take 3, adding the monthly cost of the second item to your monthly payment.

Take 3 is useful for items that you’d usually have to save up for. Instead of spending three months saving, then getting hold of the coat you wanted, you can have the item from the start, paying the same price in the long run.

Very Buy Now Pay Later payments

For larger purchases, Very offer customers a Buy Now Pay Later option. BNPL purchases must be at least £50. Here are the options available based on the cost of your purchase:

£50 or more – pay nothing for 6 months

£125 or more – pay nothing for 9 months

£200 or more – pay nothing for 12 calendar months

While pay nothing may sound like an appetising prospect, it should not be seen as a pay nothing period. After the pay nothing period has ended, buyers are charged interest on any outstanding payment. Customers should aim to pay the full amount before their pay nothing period has ended, the best way is in small manageable chunks.

Some payment methods can take longer to process, meaning a last minute payment to avoid interest is inadvisable. If you are afraid of being charged interest due to a late payment, you may want to call our Very Contact Number. A member of their customer service team will be able to help.

Spread the Cost

Spread the Cost is a monthly instalments payment plan that requires customers to pay a minimum amount each month. Buyers must pay either £5 or 7% of the balance each month, whichever figure is larger. Interest will be charged. Customers can pay as much as they want each month, as long as the minimum amount is paid.

Very delivery and tracking options

As ever with online retailers, delivery causes the most trouble. Parcels not arriving, presents turning up late or, worse still, packages marked as delivered that are nowhere to be found.

This can be a frustrating process; waiting for a delivery is annoying as it is. To ease the process, we’ve created a short guide to the available delivery options and what you should do if something’s gone wrong.

What delivery options do Very provide?

Very provide a number of delivery options to users of their site. For small items, Very offer next day delivery, in addition to nominated day delivery, a service that is useful for items you have to sign for.

Very work with Collect+ to provide a click to collect service. This is the only free delivery option available. All other delivery options incur a charge.

Large items always require a payment on delivery, the price is dependent on what you’ve bought. They are not next day delivery, instead they are delivered within 48 hours of ordering or on a chosen day. More information about the different options can be found on the Very website.

Track your Very order

To track your Very order, head to the Very website. At the bottom of the page, click on the Track Your Order section. Login to your Very account and click on the Recent Orders section. You will be able to find out where your order is.

Reporting an issue with undelivered Very packages

Things don’t always go to plan. If your delivery is late, they will refund any premium delivery charges. Very state that there is no reason to contact them about refunding a late delivery, the process is automatic.

If the tracking system tells you that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, then it is somewhere. It may be in the secure place that you note down in your delivery profile or it could be with a neighbour. In this case, there should be a card from the courier giving you the information you need to find the parcel.

If a parcel you ordered is not delivered, you will need to contact Very. You can do so by calling our Very Contact Number, a member of their customer service team will take you through the process of reporting a missing parcel.

Ways to shop with Avon

You may be familiar with Avon as a door-to-door sales cosmetics brochure. However, as a leading global beauty company and direct sellers, their products are no longer available in this way.

Avon offers an array of cosmetics including colour cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and fashion home products, and well-recognized brand names: Avon Color, ANEW, Skin-So-Soft and Advance Techniques. The beauty brand is seen by six million people every three weeks and reaches one in three women worldwide.

Though more than 6 million active Avon representatives are still the most vital part of the company’s revenue, you are now able to reach product lines online; either via a representative’s online brochure or independently.

Ways to shop

Though Avon doesn’t have stores, there are still three possible ways to shop.

The traditional route – finding an Avon representative through their search facility. You can browse a representative’s personal online brochure link and shop directly from there. We call it traditional, despite them not making door-to-door sales anymore.

The modern-modern route – the Avon Brochure mobile App available for free on the App Store for iPhones and Google Play for Android. This one does what it says on the tin, just download and browse as you would online.

The independent route – order online at avonshop.co.uk by browsing the Avon Online Brochure which features a wide selection of make-up, fragrance, fashion and skincare. Bear in mind that this option only features a limited selection of best-sellers and does not provide you with a fully comprehensive collection of Avon products, and only an Avon representative can do so.

Don’t forget that Avon also sell a range of innovative and quality wellbeing products, jewellery, lingerie, accessories and gifts all at competitive prices. Happy shopping!

How to become an Avon representative

An Avon representative is essentially a cosmetics salesperson, however, there is much more to it. It’s a flexible earning opportunity that allows you to meet people local to you and develop skills as you build a business. As a company, Avon are committed to supporting their representatives with help and advice, as well as hosting online communities for fellow representatives to discuss the experience and products, so you needn’t feel like it’s a lonely business venture.

How do I register?

Complete the form to become a representative then your local Area Manager will get in touch and arrange a meeting, they will then talk you through how it works and answer any queries and then you can proceed as a representative. Avon intend to help you with every step, so you will receive a personalised starter kit and receive help and support from the outset, with access to materials that will help you start your business.

What happens next?

With Avon you immediately start earning when you place that first order. The joining fee is £16 and charged only when you have made the initial sale, so you do not have to pay anything upfront.

Firstly, share the brochure with work colleagues, friends, family and new customers which you can find with Avon’s support. You then place and deliver orders to the customers and collect the payments. You don’t have to have any experience in sales as long you can provide a friendly face and reliable service. Once you collect the payment from the customers, you pay Avon and then yourself.

You are able to sell online with an online brochure, so all you need to do is email that brochure link out to customers and any orders will be directed to you. The process allows you to earn on your own terms, fitting the job around your lifestyle.

With unlimited flexible earnings as an Avon rep, you can earn up to 25% of everything you sell. When you register, a personal area manager will be in touch with both a Minimum Order Value and a Higher Order Value. So, when your order is above MVO you can earn up to 20%, and above HVO you can earn up to 25%.

Other benefits

Learn and develop skills in Avon’s “My Learning Zone,” with personalised training modules to help support you, and make career progressions with the Sales Leadership scheme, if you are interested in higher earnings, recruiting, managing and motivating your own team.

Socialising with other representatives is made easy, too as you can simply organise local meetups; a great way to hear from other sellers and sales leaders. You can also do so with Avon Beauty Connects, a vibrant online community where representatives share ideas and tips about their business.

Avon also offer a range of printable sales tools with details of incentives and bonuses that are designed to help you increase your sales. Furthermore, you will have access to the newest products with First Look Magazine and become a part of Avon WOW Benefits, where you and five members of your family or friends can register to receive discounts, vouchers and offers on groceries, holidays and other exclusivities with 3000 brands.
